Strictly Come Dancing 2016 results! Who left? One more celebrity voted off

Last night's Strictly Come Dancing 2016 results

Another celebrity has left Strictly Come Dancing 2016 in last night's results but who was eliminated?

This weekend the top four remaining couples danced to impress the viewers at home as well as judges Len Goodman, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood.

The panel marked all the routines as usual before the lines then opened for the viewers to vote for their favourite.

In Sunday night's results, the marks from the judges were added together and combined with the results of the viewer vote.

Who left Strictly Come Dancing 2016 last night?

Those in the bottom two were Hollyoaks hunk Danny Mac and his professional partner Oti Mabuse, and Olympic Gymnast Claudia Fragapane and her professional partner AJ Pritchard.

It was the first time in the dance off for Danny but the second time for Claudia and her last as it was Claudia Fragapane who left Strictly Come Dancing 2016 this weekend.

In the dance off, both couples performed one of their routines again; Claudia and AJ chose their Quickstep to ‘When You’re Smiling’ by Andy Williams and Danny and Oti chose to perform their American Smooth to ‘Misty Blue’ by Dorothy Moore in a bid to impress the judges and remain in the competition.

The judges then chose who to save and it was a unanimous decision.

Craig Revel Horwood was first and said: “Well both couples I have to say in that dance-off were worth 10s equally so it is so difficult, but I would really like to save Danny and Oti.”

Darcey Bussell commented: “Both performed to such an outstanding level tonight and it makes it very hard to choose between but the couple that had a small edge over the other was Danny and Oti.”

Bruno Tonioli said: “Well first I would like to congratulate you because you were both excellent but I have to go with the couple that had an edge in artistry and emotional impact and for that reason I choose Danny and Oti.”

Head Judge Len Goodman said he was in agreement with his fellow judges, although his vote was not needed.

Therefore it was Claudia and AJ who bowed out of the competition, missing out on the final.

Next Saturday, the three remaining couples will return to the dancefloor to battle it out in the ballroom for the very last time in Strictly Come Dancing – The Final.

The Strictly Come Dancing final will be live on Saturday 17th December at 6:40pm on BBC One.
