Ainsley Harriott is going all out for the Strictly Come Dancing 2016 Christmas special.
He is one of six former celebrity contestants who will be back for the one-off festive special on Christmas Day.
Ainsley, who appeared in the show last year, will be joined by Olympian and presenter Denise Lewis, Pop star Frankie Bridge, Writer and actress Pamela Stephenson, TV presenter Gethin Jones and Radio and TV host Melvin Odoom.
Ainsley said: “It’s lovely to be asked and I’m dancing with Karen Clifton, who I danced with on the tour, so I’m genuinely excited to be getting back and doing something I enjoy. Everyone knows my personality, so I’ll hopefully be bringing a little bit of Christmas joy to people and giving them a bit of a smile.”
Speaking to What's On TV, the telly chef revealed all about his performance: “We’ll be dancing a jive to Rocking Around The Christmas Tree from the movie Home Alone.
"We’ll be the two robbers coming out of the chimney and trying to steal the glitterball.
"The jive is a fun dance and it allows you a little bit of that freedom. It’s not like the intimacy of the paso doble or the waltz or something like that.”
Ainsley and Karen will be competing against the other five couples in a bid to be crowned Christmas champions 2016 and lift the famous Silver Star trophy.
Hosted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, the Strictly Christmas Special will see Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and in his last appearance on the judging panel Len Goodman casting a critical eye over the dances.
The icing on top of the Christmas cake will be a spectacular music performance.
Strictly Come Dancing 2016's Christmas special airs Xmas Day on BBC One.
