Strictly Come Dancing pro Brendan Cole has had to deny he's dead. Again.
'Strictly Come Dancing contestant dies', 'Strictly Come Dancing performer passes away' and 'Brendan Cole dead' were a few of the shocking headlines doing the rounds earlier this year.
All utter rubbish, we're happy to report, and they were 'news' stories that Brendan Cole was understandably very eager to deny.
"Ok...Very disturbing.." Brendan said in a tweet with a picture of one online story previously. "I have just been informed that I am dead! Horrified & bemused."
It claimed that Brendan had "died in the early hours of Thursday morning" after being "rushed to hospital after Saturday night's show with a chest infection."
Brendan added: "Ps...I'm very much still alive! Holy S***!
But it seems reports of Brendan's death just won't go away.
He appeared on ITV's Good Morning Britain yesterday (Wednesday) to confirm again he was still alive.
"BREAKING: @BrendanCole has confirmed that he is indeed alive after 'difficult' rumours that he'd died #BrendanCole," the show's official Twitter account quipped.
Meanwhile Brendan told the show that he found being a judge much easier than a dancer, as rumours swirl he may replace Len Goodman.
“With dancing there is so much responsibility on your shoulders to make it right for your partner for yourself, a different routine every week," said Brendan, who is a judge on the New Zealand version of Strictly. “It’s more the mental side of things you’ve got to coax them through.”
And he said of being 'mean' to the celebrities: “I felt it very easy to be honest and I know what I’m talking about.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday and Sunday night on BBC One.
