Louise Redknapp has revealed how she almost QUIT Strictly Come Dancing 2016.
The singer admitted she almost walked out in the very first day of rehearsals.
Speaking this weekend, Louise confessed: “That first day they were all just so gorgeous and confident and they had their dresses on and they were all tight and short and I just remember thinking ‘I can’t do this, I can’t go through with this, I can’t compete with these girls. I don’t want to.’"
However Louise quickly had a change of mind after chatting with her fellow celebrity contestants.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “You very quickly learn that you’re all in the same boat and you all have the same insecurities and nerves.”
Even though Louise has stuck it out, she did admit to still feeling out of her comfort zone.
The mum of two joked how "scary" it was that fellow competitor Claudia Fragapane was young enough to be her daughter.
Louise said: “Twenty years ago this would have been right in my comfort zone.
“When I was 23-24, oh yeah, I would have been embracing it wholeheartedly.
"But as a 42-year-old with two children who has been a mum for quite a few years, it’s very easy to forget how it feels to be on stage and have the confidence to do it.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns Sunday night, 4th December at 7.20pm on BBC One as one more celebrity leaves the competition in the latest results show.
