Ed Balls has been tipped for an appearance in the Celebrity Big Brother 2017 house.
It's after he won the hearts of the nation - if not the judges - on Strictly Come Dancing this year.
Bookies Coral are offering odds of Ed now ending up in Celebrity Big Brother of 10/1, or it's a 33/1 shot he'll take a leap on The Jump on Channel 4.
However both of those shows look unlikely, at least for right now, with Ed instead signing up to the Strictly Come Dancing tour.
Ed Balls, described by many as the ‘people’s champion’, became the 10th celebrity to leave the TV series on Sunday night, after losing in the dance-off to Judge Rinder.
On joining the tour, Ed said yesterday: “My time on Strictly has been incredible. I’ve been overwhelmed by the huge support I’ve had from the public voting for me. Going on tour is going to be another first for me and I plan to give it everything I’ve got for the audiences across the country.”
As for after the tour, Ed suggested he may try and get back into politics rather than taking on more reality TV challenges.
"There’s been a massive change in 18 months for me — from losing a public vote to winning all these public votes," he told The Sun newspaper this week. “If I had set out for a political comeback I’m not sure I’d have channelled Zoolander.
“I’m not sure I would have done Gangnam or Great Balls of Fire. It’s such a weird time."
He continued: “You never say never. People have seen how I have done this for three months after being a politician for 20 years — entertaining people and having a good time.
“There was no plan or plot, but who knows?”
