Another celebrity has left Strictly Come Dancing 2016 in last night's results but who was eliminated?

This weekend the top six remaining couples danced to impress the viewers at home as well as judges Len Goodman, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood.

The panel marked all the routines as usual before the Cha Cha Challenge, where a further 6 points were up for grabs. The lines then opened for the viewers to vote for their favourite.

In Sunday night's results, the marks from the judges were added together and combined with the results of the viewer vote.

Who left Strictly Come Dancing 2016 last night?

Those in the bottom two were Former Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls and his professional partner Katya Jones, and star of Judge Rinder Robert Rinder and his professional partner Oksana Platero.

It was the first time in the dance off for both Judge Rinder and Ed but for one it was the last and it was Ed who left Strictly Come Dancing 2016 this week.

In the dance off, both couples performed their routines again; Ed and Katya did their Tango to ‘(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction’ by The Rolling Stones and Judge Rinder and Oksana performed their Rumba to ‘Lean On Me’ by Bill Withers in a bid to impress the judges and remain in the competition.

The judges then chose who to save and it was a unanimous decision.

Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Judge Rinder and Oksana, saying: “On a more technical performance I would like to save Judge Rinder and Oksana.”

Darcey Bussell chose to save Judge Rinder and Oksana and explained: “The couple I would like to save just on their better technical ability is Judge Rinder and Oksana.”

Bruno Tonioli chose to save Judge Rinder and Oksana and commented: “Well I have to choose the better dancers... Judge Rinder and Oksana.”

Although his vote was not needed, Head Judge Len Goodman said he agreed with his fellow judges.

Therefore it was Ed Balls and Kataya who bowed out of the competition.

The remaining five couples will return to the dancefloor in the quarter final of the competition on Saturday 3rd December at 7pm with the results show on Sunday 4th December at 7.20pm on BBC One.
