The politician has made it into the top six of this year's contest despite his dancing being described as "technically terrible" by the judges.
Appearing on Chris Evans' Breakfast Show on Radio 2 yesterday (Friday), Darcey was quizzed on the future of Ed in the competition.
"Are you voting him through to next week - or do you want him off?" Chris asked.
"I don't think I have a say because I am a judge on the show," said a diplomatic Darcey at first.
However Chris pressed: "Is he through to the next week or is he off the show?"
Darcey finally reacted: "Out!"
Whether Ed's time really will be up this weekend will of course be more down to the public than the judges, seeing as he can't exactly get lower than last on the leaderboard.
Speaking on It Takes Two yesterday, Ed said: "We're just looking forward to the next dance and trying to do our best every week.
"I was not the best dancer in the beginning, I've never done it before. We've tried really hard and we're trying to get better every week and entertain.
"In the end if the public want us to come back, we'll keep coming back."
The remaining six couples will return to the dancefloor on Saturday 26th November at 7pm with the results show on Sunday 27th November at 7.20pm on BBC One.
