Claudia Fragapane and Greg Rutherford were in bottom two in tonight's Strictly Come Dancing 2016 results.

It was the second appearance in the dance off for Greg in as many weeks but the first time for Claudia.

On Saturday, Greg and pro partner Natalie Lowe performed the Quickstep to ‘Hand Jive’ by Cha Na Na to score 32 points from the judges.

Claudia and pro partner AJ Pritchard performed had performed the Jive to ‘Hey Mickey’ by Toni Basil, scoring 36 marks from the judges.

As usual, the results from the public vote were added to the judges' scores to decide the bottom two in the dance off tonight.

First to be announced as in the dance off were Claudia and AJ. Craig Revel Horwood encouraged her: "You really have to save your life with this dance. Go out there, fix that tiny hiccup, add some more personality and enjoy the whole thing. You're a fantastic, fantastic dancer."

And Len Goodman declared: "You should have never been in the dance off, you're too good of a dancer."

Greg and Natalie were then confirmed to be joining them. "One more dance and try and nail everything we got wrong, we've just to hope for the best now," Greg said.

"Keep that light hearted feel. Don't tense up, try to smooth the footwork a little bit and enjoy it," Bruno Tonioli said.

Both Greg and Claudia then reprised their Saturday night dances for the judges, who decided which of the pairs should stay in the competition.

And it was a unanimous decision, with the panel all voting to keep Claudia and therefore sending Greg home.
