Strictly Come Dancing 2016 judge Len Goodman found himself stuck in Blackpool Tower this weekend.
Ahead of tonight's live show at the iconic Tower Ballroom, Strictly's head judge ended up getting locked in a lift during filming.
The Sun newspaper reports that Len was filming VTs for tonight's episode when he became stuck halfway up the Tower.
He and others were trapped for 30 minutes before rescuers prised the lift doors open to free them.
An insider told the newspaper: “It’s lucky that Len Goodman isn’t claustrophobic.
"He sauntered off as if nothing had happened afterwards and was laughing with the producer and member of venue staff who’d been stuck with him.”
This evening is of course the annual Strictly special live from the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
But while the venue may be slightly different, Len will still join his fellow judges Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood to cast critical eyes over all the routines.
Last weekend saw Daisy Lowe eliminated in the dance off against Greg Rutherford leaving us with just seven celebrity and pro dancer couples in the running.
Those left on the Strictly 2016 line up this year alongside World Champion long jumper Greg are former politician Ed Balls, sports broadcaster Ore Oduba and TV's Judge Rinder.
And the other celebrity names still taking part are singer Louise Redknapp, Hollyoaks hunk Danny Mac and Team GB gymnast Claudia Fragapane.
The remaining couples will take to the dancefloor tonight when Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday 19th November at 6:55pm.
The latest Strictly results show is on Sunday 20th November at 7.15pm on BBC One.
