Last week Judge Rinder and pro partner Oksana Platero performed the Foxtrot with his grandfather and grandmother in the audience.
"I loved it so much," Judge Rinder said this week. "I really did love it."
Oksana added: "Since the day I met him the foxtrot is the one dance he's wanted to do, he put in a lot of effort and gave it his all."
However when it came to the results there was almost a shock.
Rinder spilled: "I was worried because we were the last to be called. I'm not sure... if it had gone horribly wrong I'm worried my grandfather might have rugby tackled Tess."
Chatting on It Takes Two, Judge Rinder went on to discuss how he had been suffering from nerves backstage on the BBC One series.
"The problem is, before you go out there, there are people with cameras asking 'How are you? Are you nervous? How will you feel in the dance off?'" he told host Zoe Ball. "I'm a great big nerve. [Oksana]'s doing all sorts of breathing exercises before we dance...
"But after the first few bars the nerves disappear."
This week Judge Rinder and Oksana will be dancing the Salsa to ‘Spice Up Your Life’ by the Spice Girls.
Oksana raved: "I love it, and I am a huge fan of the Spice Girls so it's a huge combination of the music and dance I love."
"It's going to be sparkle everywhere," continued Judge Rinder. "It's so much fun, it's Blackpool and it's got to be big. "
Teasing the pair's routine would have a carnival theme, Judge Rinder quipped: "Who knew that a judge would be twerking?"
Strictly Come Dancing is back live tonight on BBC One from 6:55PM.
