Laura Whitmore and Giovanni Pernice are said to 'hate' one another after their stint on Strictly Come Dancing 2016.
The pair were eliminated from the show earlier this month after appearing in the dance off against Ore Oduba.
Now it's been alleged that away from the cameras their working relationship was never great and has since turned 'toxic' following their exit.
In fact, according to The Sun newspaper, they now no longer speak.
A source told the tabloid this evening: “The atmosphere between Laura and Gio was never that great, but it’s now turned toxic."
“They pulled it together for the live shows but behind the scenes it was a different story," the insider went on. “There’s certainly no love lost between them and it’s doubtful they’ll remain in contact when the series is wrapped up later this month.”
Sources accused both Laura and Gio of annoying the other with their behaviour.
The mole claimed that "Laura got increasingly agitated with Gio’s tone and general rudeness," while Gio was annoyed that Laura apparently didn't play "the PR game".
“She didn’t like filming videos and didn’t promote their pairing like other couples did, which is vital to win votes," a source suggested.
Despite the claims there were no signs of tension between the duo when they bowed out last week.
Although there were tears during her final Strictly appearance during It Takes Two on Monday, Laura said: “It’s upsetting to leave, Strictly is a family but you know it’s not a funeral.
“I will stay in contact with all these people. It’s such a great opportunity to be part of this and make so many friends and I’ve really enjoyed my time with Giovanni and learning so much.
“It was kind of like being back at school again which was really nice and refreshing, it’s been brilliant and to even get this far, I’m so proud of myself.”
Strictly Come Dancing 2016 continues this Saturday and Sunday night on BBC One.
