Daisy Lowe makes tearful exit from Strictly Come Dancing 2016

Who left Strictly this week?

Daisy Lowe has said a tearful goodbye to Strictly Come Dancing 2016.

Daisy left in Sunday night's Strictly Come Dancing 2016 results after facing Greg Rutherford in the dance off.

It was Daisy's third time in the bottom two and her last as the judges voted to save Greg.

However it was not a unanimous decision with Bruno Tonioli backing to keep Daisy.

Speaking about her Strictly experience on It Takes Two last night, Daisy said: "I would be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed.

“But I’m really excited to watch my wonderful friends smash it in Blackpool, I'm just going to be there supporting.

“I woke up quite sad.”

Meanwhile, Daisy's pro partner Aljaž Skorjanec said: "I can't tell you how much I'll miss dancing with Daisy.

"We did put from Week 1 up until last week we put in every single hour we possibly could and we did train so hard. We had the best time, honestly we had the best time.

"We had lunch together every day, porridge in the morning and a little bit of dancing inbetween. It was just a beautiful seven weeks."

Daisy added of her final dance: "I was so nervous all the time an it was the first time on the dance floor I thought 'This is great fun!', I loved it."

The remaining seven couples left on Strictly Come Dancing will take to the one of the most famous dancefloors in the world next week when Strictly heads to the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom this Saturday and Sunday night.
