Strictly Come Dancing 2016 results: Daisy Lowe praises her "hero" Aljaz Skorjanec

Daisy Lowe is out of Strictly Come Dancing 2016 after yesterday's results.

Daisy left in last night's Strictly Come Dancing 2016 results after facing Greg Rutherford in the dance off.

It was Daisy's third time in the bottom two and her last as the judges vote to save Greg.

However it was not a unanimous decision with Bruno Tonioli backing to keep Daisy.

Speaking about her Strictly experience after he elimination, Daisy said: “I’ve loved every minute, everyone here is so unbelievable you have no idea!

“The make-up, costume, production, cameras, everyone, the judges, thank you so much for everything I’ve loved every moment."

And she added: "Hang on, I’ve missed one, my hero (to Aljaž), thank you for everything!”

Pro dancer Aljaž thanked Daisy, saying: "Firstly thank you, you’ve been the most joyous in rehearsals.

"On the weekends, you’ve taught me so much, you are the most beautiful person, inside and out, you’re a beautiful dancer and thank you for making this Strictly unforgettable for me, thank you."

Aljaž added: "I think our story ended too soon, I'm so proud of her. I was proud of her from day one; she comes into rehearsals every day and gives it her best so that's all a teacher can ask for from a student."

The remaining seven couples left on Strictly will take to the one of the most famous dancefloors in the world next week when Strictly Come Dancing heads to the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom next Saturday and Sunday night.
