Strictly Come Dancing 2016: Daisy Lowe takes a stumble in live show

Daisy Lowe had a little stumble on Strictly Come Dancing 2016 tonight.

It was the latest live show as the remaining eight dancers took to the ballroom once again.

And the pressure is on this weekend with all the celebs and pros eager to get through to next Saturday's ballroom special.

Daisy and Aljaž Skorjanec performed first, dancing Salsa to 'Groove Is In The Heart' by Deee-Lite but there was a "little incident", to quote Bruno Tonioli.

Len Goodman praised Daisy's recovery but Craig Revel Horwood was a lot more critical.

He said: "The footwork for me was slightly hap hazard I'm afraid. I thought it was continually disjointed. I thought you lost your balance, you recovered however.

"The lifts were great but the transitions were very sticky but you are so supple, I love your leg extensions."

Darcey Bussell said: "For me you were hot and groovy. You caught the attitude and that spirit of the salsa and it all came out. I would soften the knees to improve the balance but it's just the length of those legs!"

After the performance, Daisy told host Claudia Winkleman: "I loved it so much and it was so fun to go and have a party on the dancefloor."

When it came to the scores, it was a seven from Craig and 8s from the other judges for a total of 31.

Will it be enough to keep the pair in the competition and see them through to Blackpool?

As always, the judges' scores from tonight's dances will be combined with the results of the latest public vote to help determine the bottom two dancers.

Those two celebrity couples will have to dance again for the judges in Sunday night's results show at 7:15PM on BBC One where one of them will be eliminated.
