Danny Mac says he doesn't like stripping off on Strictly Come Dancing

Danny Mac says he prefers to cover up on Strictly Come Dancing 2016.

The current favourite to win may have been seen in barely-there shirts, but he says it's only because of pressure from others!

Chatting on ITV's Loose Women yesterday, Danny spilled on his time so far in the glittery Strictly bubble: "I've fallen in love with the fake tan. I massive, massively love that."

But when it comes to the revealing outfits, Danny explained: There's a few times they were like 'OK, shall we get you with next to nothing on?' I'm like, 'Maybe not'.

"We did it for the rumba, I caved a little bit."

Meanwhile, Danny suggested that his title as the bookies' tip to triumph may end up working against him.

Although he's not yet been in the dance off, Danny said: "It's lovely when people say 'You're a favourite' and from the first week the dance went really well.

"We went in strong but then you're pinned as the favourite and suddenly there's no chance you'll win because nobody wants the favourite to win.

This week Danny and pro partner Oti Mabuse will be dancing the Argentine Tango to 'I Heard it Through the Grapevine' by Marvin Gaye.

"It's going good in training, it's a really, really cool routine," Danny teased.

Strictly Come Dancing 2016 continues this Saturday and Sunday night on BBC One.
