Greg Rutherford has hit back at claims he had a 'backstage meltdown' on Strictly Come Dancing 2016.
It was reported this time last week that the sport star was left "livid" after his performance was criticised by Craig Revel Horwood on the previous Saturday live show.
According to the Daily Mirror, Greg had a "total meltdown" over the remarks, which had left pro partner Natalie Lowe upset, and threatened to quit the show.
However chatting on ITV's This Morning earlier today, Greg laughed off the reports: "I think it must have been a very slow press day! The extent of the meltdown [how it was reported]..."
He said (via Digital Spy): "What happened was that me and Natalie were sitting outside and she was upset and I was upset that she was upset.
"I think one paper reported that I was held down by four security guards – there was only one on site so where the other three came from I have no idea!"
Meanwhile, Greg ruled out his chances of winning the Strictly glitterball this year.
While he's yet to be in the bottom two dance off, Greg said: "There are far better dancers in the competition.
"I'm a long jumper, I'm not a dancer. Both Judge Rinder and I come from a similar background and have no dance experience at all."
And chatting to host Holly Willoughby, Greg brushed off the so-called Strictly curse: "The Strictly curse – if someone is looking for that side of it, it will happen. I come from a very happy relationship with a young boy. Me and Nat are like brother and sister in that way."
Strictly Come Dancing 2016 continues this Saturday and Sunday night live on BBC One.
