Laura Whitmore has admitted she knew she was going home in last night's Strictly Come Dancing 2016 results.
While it was Laura's second time in the bottom two, it was Ore's first and a shock appearance for one of the favourites to win.
Speaking after her exit, Laura confessed she "knew" she was out when stepping up to dance off against Ore.
"It’s upsetting to leave, Strictly is a family but you know it’s not a funeral," she told the Mirror. “I will stay in contact with all these people.
"It’s such a great opportunity to be part of this and make so many friends and I’ve really enjoyed my time with Giovanni and learning so much.
“It was kind of like being back at school again which was really nice and refreshing, it’s been brilliant and to even get this far, I’m so proud of myself.”
Speaking on the show last night, the TV presenter went on to rave about her time on Strictly: “Just being here, the judges, behind the scenes.
"I don’t think anyone realises how much goes on here, the make-up, the costume, everything and just to be part of that for a little while is amazing.
"And if I’m going to go against anyone then, Ore, I mean… I’m ok.”
Laura’s professional partner, Giovanni added, “I would like to say again thank you for being such a great partner, an amazing person to work with, you teach me a lot and I will never ever forget this journey.”
Sunday’s results show also featured a performance from Gary Barlow.
The remaining eight couples will take to the dancefloor next week when Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday 12th November at 6:55pm with the results show on Sunday 13th November at 7.15pm on BBC One.
