Bonfire night knocked The X Factor 2016's viewing figures down again last night.
The show hit a new series low, dropping a little from last week's previous live performance show by 100,000 viewers.
X Factor's viewing figures
An average of 5.6 million viewers tuned in to The X Factor last night, making the episode the least watched of this year's show to date.
Bonfire night falling directly on the 5th is unlikely to have helped numbers, together with an earlier than scheduled finish for the show.
The live show, which peaked at 6.7 million, was down 950,000 viewers on 2015's equivalent episode and a whopping 2.4 million on 2014's fifth live show.
