Ed Balls is the favourite to get the chop in the Strictly Come Dancing 2016 results this weekend.

In tonight's show (November 5), the remaining dancers each performed live once again for the judges.

Tomorrow night (November 6) one more unlucky celeb will be heading home.

But just who is in danger of leaving in the results show?

Tonight saw Louise Redknapp top the judges' marks with a joint series high score of 39 points.

But back at the bottom again was Ed Balls, despite his best marks yet.

He's avoided the dance off so far but bookies think his time is finally up as he is tipped for the chop this weekend. The ex-politician is the 5/4 favourite to be eliminated as the competition begins to heat up.

Just above Ed in the scores after a bit of a mistake in her routine, Laura Whitmore is also in danger of elimination.

Meanwhile, could we see poor Daisy Lowe in the bottom two for a third week running? She scored her best marks tonight but will it be enough to keep her out of the danger zone?

At the other end of the table, Danny Mac remains the favourite to win after bouncing back this week with his best marks yet and first tens of the series.

Aoife Heffron from BoyleSports commented: “Ed Balls is the favourite for the Strictly Come Dancing boot for the first time this season. Ed has been the novelty act this year, but as the competition gets down to the nitty gritty it seems it’s time he made his exit.”

She added “At 5/4 Ed is heading the betting to be eliminated, but is closely followed by Daisy Lowe at 6/4, who was in the dance off last week, so there is a slight chance he will live to dance another week.”

Strictly Come Dancing 2016 airs Sunday, November 6 at 7:15PM on BBC One with the results show.
