Natalie Lowe has hit back at Craig Revel Horwood after last Saturday night's Strictly Come Dancing.
Craig made Natalie cry with his comments about her Rumba with celeb partner Greg Rutherford on Saturday
"Natalie, I felt like you were protecting Greg with this dance with wild, show-stopping positions and lines that are going to make the audience applaud," he said.
Craig added to the the pair: "I don’t feel I can judge this dance as a rumba. I can probably judge this as a showdance or a contemporary dance that’s passionate and engaging but sadly it wasn’t, for me – I think – to do with rumba."
Appearing on It Takes Two tonight, Natalie hit back: "I genuinely thought it was an advanced routine so when I heard the comments from Craig I was a little bit shocked to be really honest with you."
She suggested: "They [the judges] didn't see certain elements.
"I was a little bit surprised I didn't hear that comment from Len and not from Craig because Craig's always like 'I love that, think outside the box'."
Turning to Greg, Natalie continued: "You owned it and I thought you deserved more than a four and you're such an amazing showman. I was just a bit gutted that I maybe let you down..."
But Greg was sure she didn't, saying: "I loved the performance, I loved the dance, I wasn't too concerned what Craig was saying to be totally honest."
The long jumper went on: "We worked so much on that routine and I was so excited to perform it. I was loving it, That had been my favourite dance so far."
This week Greg and Natalie will be dancing the Viennese Waltz to ‘You Don’t Own Me’ by Grace
"I'm thoroughly enjoying this dance," Greg said.
Strictly Come Dancing is back Saturday night on BBC One.
