Louise Redknapp has revealed she turned down Strictly Come Dancing in the past.
The eternal singer is one of the nine remaining celebs on this year's line up.
And she finally said yes to show bosses after being approached a number of times in the past.
Speaking about changing her mind this week, Louise said it was all down to her sons.
"The boys are getting older. They finish school and go to football and their dad does all of that with them," Louise explained. "Often I'm at home at 8PM thinking, when are they coming back? I need to do dinner!
"I felt if I left it much longer I was going to be too old. I wouldn't be able to it like Lesley Joseph did!"
Louise added: "The boys are pretty self-sufficient so I thought I'd be a bit selfish and do something for me."
However talking of getting older, Louise joked how the daily training sessions had left her 'feeling 80'.
"Some nights I get home and feel 80! If I sit down, I freeze up. But it's been really good for my fitness and to do something I enjoy," she told OK! magazine this week.
And Louise spilled that husband Jamie had been of no help to her, despite trying.
"He's useless," she said. "I tried a bit of the rumba. he said he can't do it and was worried he would injure me.
"He hates dancing. When we go out and I try to get him to dance, he'll hold me for two seconds and then say he's going to get a drink."
Strictly Come Dancing 2016 is back this Saturday and Sunday night on BBC One.
