Brendan Cole says he's not bitter over Anastacia's high Strictly Come Dancing score without him last week.
A sick Brendan was ruled out of the show last Saturday night, with fellow pro Gorka Marquez stepping in to dance with Anastacia.
The pair performed the Quickstep and Anastacia won her best score from the judges, leading to some fans to call for Gorka to replace Brendan permanently.
But speaking on It Takes Two last night, Brendan said he'd be back on Saturday night.
"I'm getting much better. I had a tough week but I'm back in the game and I'm looking forward to being back in the studio with this one [Anastacia]," he said.
Talking about her dance with Gorka last weekend, Anastacia raved: "I loved doing something cheeky and cute, the glamour and the West End of it all, I loved it. "
Brendan added: "I was very proud, it was very difficult sitting at home watching. It was hard being away from the whole show and seeing you in another man's arms, dancing my Quickstep.
"I was just very proud and I think they did a very good job with a better score than I could... I'M NOT BITTER!"
This week the pair will be dancing the Jive to ‘Bat Out Of Hell’ by Meat Loaf for Halloween's Fright Night.
"It's going to really well. I'm super impressed with Brendan coming back," Anastacia said.
Brendan added: "I'm definitely on the mend and I'm looking forward to this jive."
Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday 29th October at 6.45pm with the results show on Sunday 30th October at 7.15pm on BBC One.
