Strictly Come Dancing's Greg Rutherford and Natalie Lowe have even bigger lifts planned

Greg Rutherford and Natalie Lowe have teased even bigger lifts on Strictly Come Dancing.

The athletic pair have already shown off some ridiculous moves on the series this year.

At the weekend, Olympian Greg was seen lifting Natalie above his head as the pair danced the Salsa.

But the duo had cut out a load of other lifts after Greg suffered an injury to his arm.

He reflected last night: "We had so many worries about that final performance and what happened with the wrist, so much so that about two hours before people were suggesting we should remove it entirely.

"You can see how happy I was because we got through it."

Greg told It Takes Two his wrist was now on the mend and that means even bigger lifts in the future.

His pro partner Natalie explained: "There was a lot going on last week, I think we adapted the lifts three different times so we've got some fantastic lifts for the future, we've got lots up our sleeves.

"Even when in the canteen upstairs rehearsing, it wasn't just quite working. We had to adapt a lot."

And Greg revealed that last week's dance came together after just a few hours of rehearsals.

"We had maybe 5 or 6 hours to learn the routine," he let slip. "I lost two days because of the stupid wrist, it's ridiculous. but it meant last week was very pushed."

This week Greg and Natalie are dancing the Cha Cha to 'We Found Love' by Rihanna featuring Calvin Harris.

Strictly Come Dancing 2016's live shows continue this Saturday at 6:35PM on BBC One.

And the results show is on Sunday at 7.15pm on BBC One as another celebrity is sent home.
