It was confirmed that Will had quit Strictly Come Dancing last night, citing simply "personal reasons."
"Due to personal reasons, Will Young has decided to withdraw from Strictly Come Dancing," said a spokesperson for the show. "The show fully respects his decision and wishes him all the best for the future."
In his own statement, Will didn't explain why he was leaving, saying simply: "I am leaving the show for personal reasons."
With Will not going into details, some have speculated - and indeed The Sun newspaper suggests - that Will left over his row with Len Goodman.
Singer Will clashed with head judge Len on Saturday night's show after dancing the salsa with pro partner Karen Clifton.
Len wasn't keen on the pair's Bollywood themed routine, complaining about a lack of actual salsa content.
But Will hit back, saying there was more than enough, prompting Len to tell him to “show up, keep up and shut up”.
Despite the tense live clash, it's NOT the reason behind Will's surprise exit.
"Will leaving the show is nothing to do with the argument with Len," the source told the Mirror. "They actually had a laugh about the little on-screen altercation after the show.
"There is a great amount of mutual respect between the pair."

Will said: "As a performer, a viewer, and a fan of the show, to dance as a contestant was an experience I always hoped for. I have made some great friends, and am in awe of their performances week in, week out.
"I have found a creative partnership with Karen that has been the most wonderful thing to experience. I will be eternally grateful to her for her direction, talent and guiding me through three wonderful dances that I will be able to show my grandkids in years to come."
He continued: "Unfortunately, I am leaving the show for personal reasons. I leave with joy in my heart that I have been able to take part in one of the most loved shows on British television.
"I am so grateful to everyone who works on Strictly from the lighting designer to catering to the production team. Strictly truly is the most unique family and I thank them from the bottom of my heart."
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday and Sunday night on BBC One.
The BBC say that Will will NOT be replaced and the competition will continue on as normal with another elimination this Sunday night.
