Will Young went head to head with Len Goodman on Strictly Come Dancing 2016 tonight.

It was Movies week this evening and Will and Karen Clifton danced the Salsa to 'Jai Ho (You Are My Destiny)' by A.R. Rahman and the Pussycat Dolls from Slumdog Millionaire.

Len wasn't too impressed with the lack of Salsa content, but Will hit back insisting there was more than enough.

Len then told Will to 'put up and shut up', before insisting it was a joke, as Will reminisced about his infamous clash with Simon Cowell on Pop Idol.

After the awkward exchange, Will told Strictly host Claudia Winkleman: "I love Len as well and I didn't want to come across as disrespectful, I can help myself, I get passionate."

Will and Karen went on to score 31 points with 8s from all the judges except from Len who gave a 7.

On Twitter, Strictly fans were split over who was in the right...
