Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Ola Jordan has hit out at show bosses.
It follows all of last weekend's dance off drama.
Anastacia and her professional partner Brendan Cole and Kiss FM DJ Melvin Odoom and Janette Manrara were in the bottom two Sunday evening.
Once the judges' marks from Weeks 1 and 2 were combined with the viewer vote, the couples found themselves facing the dance off.
However Anastacia couldn't perform due to an injury. Therefore the result went back to the public poll and with the fewest votes, it was Melvin who left Strictly on Sunday night.
A Strictly Come Dancing spokesperson said: "There was no Dance Off tonight due to a confirmed injury. As per the Strictly Come Dancing rules if the Dance Off cannot go ahead then the result reverts to the viewer vote."
However Ola hit out at the decision this week: “I have never heard of a rule book. It’s not fair.
"The BBC is all about fairness but they are not being fair.”
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, Ola suggested that BOTH Melvin and Anastacia should have gone through.
Ola explained: “If they couldn’t have done a dance off then they should have put two couples through and done a double elimination next week.
“To give Melvin another chance. Melvin wasn’t given the chance to dance. I felt sorry for him.
“If the BBC is all about fairness then be fair. Anastacia went through a horrible time but Strictly is full on. That’s just the way it is.”
In hindsight, that does sound like a much better idea, to be honest.
Alas, Melvin has gone and he leaves 14 other celebs performing live again this Saturday on BBC One.
