Danny Mac has strengthened his title as the Strictly Come Dancing 2016 favourite.
But after the weekend's dance off drama, Anastacia is being tipped to be next out.
The latest odds according to bookies Boylesports show that Danny is ruling the roost in the Strictly Come Dancing betting after another impressive week on the dancefloor. The former Hollyoaks hunk has been backed further as the favourite to win and is now 2/1 from 3/1 having been as big as 9/1 before the live shows started.
Louise Redknapp is another hot contender for the Glitterball trophy after joining Danny Mac at the top of the leaderboard on a total of 63 points. Louise is now 7/2 from 9/2 after her dazzling Viennese Waltz scored 32, one better than her score last week.
Judge Rinder is fast becoming a favourite with punters as they continue to back him to win, resulting in his odds shortening yet again to 8/1 from 10/1, placing him third in the betting.
Both Will Young and Claudia Fragapane are on offer at 9/1 with Daisy Lowe next at 10/1. Daisy is another celebrity whose odds continue to shorten as she showcases her moves on the dancefloor. The model went into the live shows as a 25/1 shot, but as she places third on the leaderboard her odds were quickly cut as punters began to get behind her.
Anastacia who avoided the first elimination after the dance off was cancelled and sent to a public vote due to the singer’s injured back which ultimately saw Melvin Odoom sent packing.
The controversy surrounding the result that saw Anastacia remain in the competition has damaged her odds of winning as she has drifted out to 100/1 from 50/1.
Aoife Heffron from BoyleSports commented: “Danny Mac is the one to beat as he is oozing with elegance on the dancefloor, but has competition in Louise Redknapp who is starting to close in on him in the betting.”
She added: “Danny is the current 2/1 favourite however punters are fixated on Louise and Judge Rinder with both seeing an influx of support after the weekend’s performances.
"The debacle with Anastacia and Melvin in the bottom two have enraged viewers and almost sealed Anastacia’s fate for next week, as she drifts out to a 100/1 shot to win.”
Strictly Come Dancing is back this Saturday night on BBC One.
