The popstar found herself having to perform an altered routine on last night's live show because of an injury.
Despite their best efforts, Anastacia and pro partner Brendan Cole's salsa saw them rank bottom of the leaderboard on the night with just 22 points.
And in tonight's results show the pair faced Melvin Odoom and his professional partner Janette Manrara in the dance off.
But after Anastacia chose to perform her altered routine on Saturday, her injury was aggravated and so Anastacia could not perform again.
Anastacia revealed on the results show tonight how she had been ordered by doctors to rest after ripping the scar tissue around where she had a double mastectomy.
The singer then told host Tess Daly she didn't want to hurt herself by performing again.
According to the BBC, under the rules of Strictly Come Dancing, if a contestant cannot dance in the Dance Off this means there cannot be a Dance Off. The couple with the fewest viewer votes will leave the competition.
A spokesperson for the show confirmed: "There was no Dance Off tonight due to a confirmed injury. As per the Strictly Come Dancing rules if the Dance Off cannot go ahead then the result reverts to the viewer vote."
Therefore the first Strictly results were down to the public vote alone.
Tess announced that with the fewest public votes of the bottom two acts, Melvin was going home.
It remains to be seen just how serious Anastacia's injury is and whether or not she'll be able to continue performing.
We're loving the singer on the show and it would be a HUGE shame to see her forced out.
Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturday and Sunday nights on BBC One.
