Strictly Come Dancing 2016: Will Young is the favourite to win already

Strictly Come Dancing 2016 - Couples

Will Young has been named the favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing 2016 this year.

It's the first live show this week and Will has been tipped to take home the glitterball with pro partner Karen Clifton come the end of the series.

But we've still got a VERY long way to go yet...

Olympic gymnast Claudia Fragapane and her pro - newbie AJ Pritchard - are fancied as Will's biggest rivals right now.

Karen's pro dancer husband Kevin is partnered with Louise Redknapp, who's also a contender together with BBC sports presenter Ore Oduba and Joanne Clifton.

Dark horses could come in the form of Robert Rinder, currently in the middle of the betting along with Greg Rutherford as it remains to be seen just how everyone will do when they hit the dancefloor properly for the first time.

At the other end of it all is poor Ed Balls, given a 200/1 shot to lift the Glitterball trophy alongside Lesley Joseph and her 150/1 odds.

So it doesn't look like this will be Anton Du Beke's year once again...

Still, stranger things have happened on the show and with the final not until Christmas there's plenty of time for celebs to prove their doubters wrong.
