Strictly Come Dancing's Melvin Odoom has been getting advice from Lady Gaga, of all people.
The Kiss FM DJ has revealed that the singer told him to 'be a ninja' in order to be a winner.
“She told me to turn off my phone before routines and shut off from everything mentally,” he told the Daily Mirror newspaper. “And she said ‘be like a ninja’. Not sure what she meant, but nice to get her input!”
And it's not just Lady GaGa that Melvin has been hitting up for help.
He told Hello magazine last week: "Pixie [Lott] I saw at V Festival, who's a really good friend of ours, she was amazing.
"She said, 'Melvin, really enjoy it because it's over sooner than you think and at the end of it you realise how great it is'. Caroline [Flack] was really amazing as well, she said it was one of the best things she's ever done."
Melvin went on to rave about his pro dancer Janette Manrara, describing her as the "best partner that I could have got."
The former Xtra Factor host explained: "Because she's the perfect balance of being able to take things seriously, but she's very fun at the same time."
He added: "She does work me quite hard but she's really worked me out, she's taken some time to get to know me."
The first of this year's Strictly Come Dancing live shows will at the end of the week on BBC One in two parts, first on Friday, September 23 and then on Saturday, September 24.
