After more than a decade, will this year's Strictly Come Dancing finally see Anton du Beke win his first glitterball trophy?
Despite being on every single series of the BBC One show, pro dancer Anton has yet to win, getting as close as the final in two previous occasions.
Partnered with Birds Of A Feather star Lesley Joseph for this year's series, Anton reckons he's on to a potential winner.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, Anton said that Lesley has made the strongest start yet... despite saying the same about all of his past celebrity partners.
He told the tabloid: “They’ll be furious, but I lied – sorry girls! But Lesley is doing incredibly well; I’m amazed it’s so good.”
In a first look video from rehearsals, Anton is seen impressed as he and Lesley rehearse the Waltz - but she's not quite as convinced.
“She’s pulling off the figures nicely,” Anton says. “A double reverse spin, first day – boom. This is a lovely place to find myself. I think I might have tomorrow off. Get a round of golf in.”
However Lesley remarks: "By the end he'll leave me and I'll be a sodden mess on the floor."
Speaking ahead of last week's launch, Lesley wasn't sure of her chances but revealed she hoped to reach at least the midway stage at Blackpool's Tower Ballroom.
“I have this vision of being able to do it all, but I know once we get into the nitty gritty of it – where you put your feet and hold your head, where you look and where you spin - it’s going to be difficult," she explained. "I am a woman of a certain age, but I’ll do the best I can. I do yoga and I’m reasonably fit.”
Lesley added: "I’d just like to make it to Blackpool.”
Strictly Come Dancing 2016 returns to BBC One on Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24 for the first live shows of the series.
