Craig Revel Horwood has taken a swipe at The X Factor and its wannabes.
Although the Strictly Come Dancing judge did THANK Simon Cowell for providing so many potential singers for his productions.
Chatting ahead of Strictly's return to TV tomorrow (Saturday), Craig couldn't help but fuel the show's rivalry with The X Factor.
"We have celebrities whereas on The X Factor they're wannabes hoping to be famous," Craig quipped.
However he does hope the ITV show keeps on going.
He explained: "I'd love to keep The X Factor going because I've employed Alexandra Burke in my Sister Act show. Simon Cowell is doing all the leg work for me in finding stars."
Craig went on: “I can only thank Simon Cowell for delivering these wonderful singers to my doorstep, saves me audition money. I can use X Factor as my audition platform and pick and choose people from that."
The new series of Strictly will start Saturday night on BBC One with The X Factor once again going straight after.
Last year, Craig suggested that Simon should join Strictly's Christmas special to help boost his viewing figures.
"My thoughts are turning to the Christmas special and I'd love to see Simon Cowell on it," he said. "He might need to do it after this year's dismal X Factor ratings. At least he'd get more viewers that way."
The X Factor and Strictly air Saturday night on ITV and BBC One respectively.
