Strictly Come Dancing 2017 launches this Saturday night on BBC One but two pro dancers will be left without a celebrity.

The celebrities found out their pro partners last night when this year's launch show was filmed.

And for the second year in a row, Neil Jones and Chloe Hewitt will be the ones sitting out.

World Champion Neil Jones and British and European Youth Latin and Ballroom Champion Chloe Hewitt both joined the series last year.

However once again for this series, neither Chloe nor Neil will be getting a celebrity partner and instead they'll only appear in the pro dance routines.

However they'll also act as standbys should any of the other pros be injured during the series and appear on spin-off show It Takes Two as regular dance experts.

Neil and Chloe will be sitting out again this year despite three new pros.

This year's Strictly professional line up includes three new ladies: Dianne Buswell from Australia, Nadiya Bychkova from Ukraine and Amy Dowden from Wales.

The three new Strictly Come Dancing professionals will replace Joanne Clifton, Oksana Platero and Natalie Lowe who are all leaving the series.

Those returning to the Strictly dance floor alongside Chloe and Neil are male dancers, Anton Du Beke, Brendan Cole, Kevin Clifton, Pasha Kovalev, Gorka Marquez, Giovanni Pernice, AJ Pritchard and Aljaž Škorjanec

Plus returning female dancers Karen Clifton, Katya Jones, Oti Mabuse and Janette Manrara.

And pairings of pro dancers and celebrities on the Strictly Come Dancing 2017 line up will be revealed this weekend.

Stars on this year's series include The Saturday's Mollie King, EastEnders actor Davood Ghadami, ITV's This Morning and regular Loose Women panellist Ruth Langsford, JLS singer Aston Merrygold and X Factor winner Alexandra Burke.

Strictly Come Dancing starts this Saturday night on BBC One at 7PM.
