The Strictly Come Dancing 2016 start date has been announced with the BBC confirming that the show will be back on TV in September.
The BBC has revealed the Strictly Come Dancing 2016 launch date will VERY soon as the red carpet show kicks off on Saturday, September 3 at 6:50PM.
This will be the usual pre-recorded opening show, introducing us to the celebrities and pro dancers and seeing them paired up.
The pro line up for Strictly 2016 has already been confirmed with a big shake up.
Kristina Rihanoff, Ola Jordan, Aliona Vilani, Tristan MacManus and Gleb Savchenko are all OUT.
New faces in their place are world-class Latin and Ballroom dance experts including World Champion Katya Jones, Ukrainian Champion Oksana Platero and top Spanish dance professional Gorka Marquez.
Also joining Strictly are a trio of British dancers including World Champion Neil Jones and British and European Youth Latin and Ballroom Champions, AJ Pritchard and Chloe Hewitt, who will be the youngest ever professional dancers to appear on Strictly Come Dancing.
As for the celebs, so far 10 have been confirmed for the Strictly 2016 line up: Singer Anastacia, BBC Breakfast Presenter Naga Munchetty, model Daisy Lowe, Hollyoaks actor Danny Mac, singer Louise Redknapp, Kiss FM DJ Melvin Odoom, former politician Ed Balls, singer Will Young, TV presenter Laura Whitmore and sports broadcaster Ore Oduba.
A total of 15 are set for the series with the live shows starting in October.
