Australian Dancing With The Stars judge Helen Richey is reportedly being lined up to replace Len Goodman on Strictly Come Dancing next year.
Len shocked us all earlier this summer when he announced that 2016 would be his final series of Strictly as head judge, stepping down from the show at the end of the year after more than a decade.
There have been many rumours about who could take over with pro Anton Du Beke one of the favourites.
But we might get someone very different, with reports suggesting that dancer Helen Richey, currently a judge on the Aussie version of Strictly, could replace Len.
Helen performed as a dancer for almost three decades before becoming a coach and judge, appearing on Australia's Dancing With The Stars for seven series.
"Helen is known across the dancing world and highly respected," a source revealed over the weekend "She’s been a judge in Australia for 12 years so is used to the cameras and has a similar calm temperament to Len"
The insider added to The Sun newspaper: "I know that BBC chiefs were impressed by her when she fronted out and dismissed cheat claims when they erupted on that show."
As yet nothing has been officially confirmed about who will replace Len on next year's Strictly.
For now, Strictly Come Dancing returns for Len's last series from September on BBC One.
