Boxing icon Frank Bruno is reportedly interested in being a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing 2016.
According to the Radio Times, the former heavyweight champion is eyeing up a spot on the celebrity dancefloor as his first stab at the world of reality TV.
"Frank would love to do it. Firstly, he’s athletic. Secondly, he thinks he could do quite well in it and thirdly it’s great profile," a source 'close to' the 54-year-old said.
"The public would enjoy him on it – he’s a funny person."
The mole added that Frank has previously turned down multiple offers to appear on ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.
As the magazine pointed out, the BBC usually tries its best to land stars that don't do the rounds on rival shows - so we wouldn't be surprised if bosses have already put a call in.
While it's unknown whether Frank is actually in talks to take part, plenty of other names have been rumoured for the next series of Strictly, which is expected to begin in September.
Among the potential contestants are telly presenters Angellica Bell, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, daytime favourite Judge Rinder, comedy actress Lesley Joseph and model Daisy Lowe.
