Strictly Come Dancing 2016 will get two more pro dancers, it's been revealed.

So far a total of three newbies have been announced after five of last year's professionals quit.

Long timers Kristina Rihanoff, Ola Jordan and Aliona Vilani along with relative newbie Tristan MacManus all confirmed their exits previously, while Gleb Savchenko announced his departure after only one series last week.

The BBC has since announced that World Champion Katya Jones, Ukrainian Champion Oksana Platero and top Spanish dance professional Gorka Marquez will be taking over.

And now returning pro Brendan Cole has let slip two more new names will be revealed soon.

He teased: "There are five new dancers, I think the three have been released. I know some of them, I know Katya very well, she's a great dancer she's going to be a great addition."

Speaking about the changes, Brendan said: "Change can be a good thing, as long a Anton and I don't change we're okay!

"From our point of view, we welcome them, show them the ropes and if we all gel, the show gels and we want to do good things for the show as well!"

Waltzing back to the Strictly dance floor alongside Brendan are his fellow marvellous male pro dancers, Anton du Beke, Kevin Clifton, Pasha Kovalev, Aljaž Škorjanec, Giovanni Pernice; and the fabulous female dancers returning are Karen Clifton, Natalie Lowe, Joanne Clifton, Janette Manrara and Oti Mabuse.

Strictly will air on BBC One from September.
