Louise Redknapp has reportedly signed up for Strictly Come Dancing 2016.
The singer, a former member of girl band Eternal, has apparently been on Strictly's wish list for YEARS and will take to the dancefloor in the autumn.
According to The Sun newspaper, show bosses are "absolutely thrilled" to have finally signed her up.
"She’s a huge star and they feel she will bring class and glamour," a source told the tabloid today. “She grew up singing and dancing, which will stand her in good stead when the rehearsals and training kick in after the summer."
There were rumours last year that Strictly chiefs were keen to get BOTH Louise and her ex-footballer husband Jamie Redknapp on the show.
But Jamie ruled out ever appearing despite the rumours, saying: “I would rather eat my own hand. I’m not joking.
“It’s a good show, I respect anyone who does it, but I couldn’t do it. I would be so self-conscious, I would hate every second of it.
“The thought of wearing those tight outfits and trying to dance, it’s honestly horrendous."
Other rumoured celebrity contestants for the line up this year include singer Anastacia, ITV's Judge Rinder, Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery, TV presenter couple Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, former I'm A Celebrity host Laura Whitmore, butler to the late Princess Diana Paul Burrell and Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood.
Even MORE rumoured names are Corrie's Ryan Thomas, Geordie Shore's Charlotte Crosby and YouTuber Louise Pentland, aka SprinkleofGlitter
Strictly will air later this year on BBC One.
