TV presenter Ruth Langsford has dropped a MAJOR hint that she and her husband Eamonn Holmes could be about to compete on Strictly Come Dancing 2016.
Earlier this year it was claimed that the couple may finally be on the verge of agreeing a deal with BBC bosses after being approached for the show multiple times.
During today's edition of ITV's This Morning, which featured Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood, host Philip Schofield cheekily asked Ruth about the rumours when he spoke to her in a live link-up with Loose Women.
But Ruth refused to confirm or deny, instead laughing: "Well I can’t reveal that, can I? You’re not allowed to say if you are or you’re not!"
She wouldn't even reveal if the Beeb had indeed asked her, saying: "I can't tell you that!"
Ruth did insist that she can dance - although she didn't seem so sure about Eamonn, seeing as he recently had an operation on his hips.
Strictly isn't due back on our screens until September, but already speculation is heating up over which famous faces will be taking to the dancefloor.
Last week, former CBBC presenter Angellica Bell was linked to the show - while other rumoured contestants include singer Anastacia, former I'm A Celebrity... presenter Laura Whitmore and Downton Abbey actress Michelle Dockery.
