Vincent Simone says he WON'T be returning to Strictly Come Dancing despite being invited back alongside pro partner Flavia Cacace.
The professional pair danced on Strictly for seven series before leaving the show back in 2012 following the tenth year.
They revealed recently that Strictly bosses have repeatedly asked them back but, at least for Vincent, it won't be happen.
He told The Sun newspaper that the show had changed too much in an effect to become more like the US version, Dancing With The Stars.
"The most important thing was that when I was involved in it there was only me, my partner and the music, nothing else," Vincent told the tabloid.
He explained: “It works in America because in America everything is big, but I don’t know. I think there was something about the simplicity of just a man and a woman dancing, in my opinion.
“And I used to love it – especially when I made the final with Rachel Stevens, that was just me and her and the music and you get drawn into what we’re doing and you don’t have a car or a train, dogs... So that was the best time. I was lucky to be part of [it].”
While Vincent won't be back on Strictly, he is eyeing up more reality telly after a stint in the I'm A Celebrity jungle.
"I love reality TV shows – the good ones... Obviously the jungle was my favourite but I never thought I was going to be part of it," he said. “It went well and I loved it and I would do it again even though is was really hard – it’s a once in a lifetime experience.”
But don't expect Vincent in Celebrity Big Brother any time soon: “Big Brother would be the end, the last when I have nothing left to give.”
