Artem Chigvintsev has teased a possible return to Strictly Come Dancing as he reveals why he really quit the show.
The pro dancer left the series in 2013 and has gone on to appear in the American version, Dancing With The Stars.
Speaking in LA this week about his decision to leave, Artem explained: "To me what was tough...The BBC kept changing producers and executive producers of the show. So once you really know how to work with one person, then they are changing and you're trying to find a way to work with another person.
"I think that was my biggest determination why I wanted to leave the show."
He continued: "Everybody tried to bring something new and tried to change it. I'm always a big believer of 'why change something when it really works'. I think that's the biggest reason why I left."
Artem was on the show for four years, winning the one series, and suggested he could be back on the pro line up this year.
"I don't know what the future holds. We'll see," he said. "I'm definitely going to be doing something in the UK but I don't know if it's going to be Strictly as a competitive professional."
Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One later this year with the pro line up yet to be announced.
