Strictly Come Dancing has lost three of its long-term female pros, and more could follow.

Aliona Vilani, Ola Jordan and Kristina Rihanoff have already all left the BBC One show in the same year.

The trio have a combined experience of almost 25 years on the series and recent addition to the pro line up Gleb Savchenko reckons the loss could cause the next run to suffer.

He told the Daily Mirror newspaper losing the ladies would be a blow to Strictly: "They are three of the girls who had the most training and they have been very, very good.

“All three girls have amazing experience at teaching someone who has never danced before and making the most out of it.”

Gleb, who joined the show last year, went on to tip his wife Elena Samodanova to join the line up.

“She would be incredible. I wouldn’t mind her dancing with another man," he said about Elena who has previously appeared in both the US and Australian versions of the show.

Gleb also spoke out about quickly becoming a fan - and Claudia Winkleman - favourite on last year's series thanks to his model looks.

He said: “I want people to appreciate what I do and not the way I look. When people appreciate my work, that is the biggest reward for me.”
