The pro performer has apparently decided she will be quitting the series at the end of the current run.
A source told The Sun newspaper today: “This has been on the cards a while. She’s very loyal to James so when he was forced out it left a sour taste.
“And her calendar shoot was a bit racy, but Strictly dancers aren’t paid a huge amount. She has so many work offers, she can’t turn down things like that.”
Speaking earlier this year, Ola hinted at an exit as she revealed she hoped to soon start a family with her husband, former Strictly pro James Jordan.
“I’m 33 now and I almost feel like I’ve left it too late already, but we would like one. We’re just not quite sure when to have one," she told the Daily Mirror. “I don’t want to take the time out of dancing but at the same time I want to be around. Maybe James can be a house-husband.”
As for returning again to Strictly next year, Ola said last month that it was up in the air the moment.
Ola, who was first eliminated this year with celebrity partner Iwan Thomas, said: “I don’t know about Strictly yet. I don’t know whether I will do the Christmas special.
“I don’t know about the tour either, because with James not being in the show any more I will have to be away from him.”
