Jamelia has confessed she was left 'mind blown' after avoiding the dance off last Sunday night.
After three weeks in the bottom two, the popstar found herself straight through to this weekend's show after a surprise result saw Kellie Bright having to perform again instead.
Jamelia admitted to being over the moon to have avoided the danger zone for what would have been a fourth time, even if there were lots of mistakes in her routine.
She revealed: "I'm not going to highlight too much but I forgot half the routine but they didn't notice, it's fine!"
Jamelia's pro partner Tristan MacManus added: "We kind of blanked it."
Speaking about making it to the half way point, Jamelia continued: "I just genuinely feel the fact we're still here is mind blowing.
"I thought I'd be out in week 3 so the fact I'm still here, I'm like 'Oh My Gosh', maybe I'm meant to be here."
This week Jamelia and Tristan will be performing a prom night themed Samba to ‘A Little Respect’ by Erasure and they're both very excited.
"I'm loving it, absolutely loving it, I'm loving the theme, the vibe, it's all fun, cheesy, 80s," enthused Jamelia.
If they can avoid the chop for one more week it'll be off to Blackpool, a prospect that Jamelia is most looking forward to.
"Honestly, to reach Blackpool would just be absolutely amazing. I'd probably burst and I'm sure you want to see that live on TV," she said.
The remaining nine couples will take to the dancefloor this week when Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday 14th November at the slightly later time of 6.50pm with the results show on Sunday 15th November at 7.20pm on BBC One.
