Strictly's Craig Revel Horwood reckons that Helen George is keen to win this year's series.

The ever-critical judge claimed this week that the Call The Midwife star "doesn't really chat to people" on set of the show, adding: "She's focused, hard working and wants to win."

And Craig reckons Helen has what it takes to go all the way... if she can win over the public.

"Helen has the grace and elegance others lack as well as the dancer's discipline and work ethic," he told the Radio Times. "She dazzles week in, week out."

Craig suggested: "If the public are on her side, she could be in the final."

While Helen may not be the chattiest of stars, Craig revealed that Kellie Bright was the opposite and that they are now BFFs.

"Kellie has become a real mate," Craig said. "We go and have a drink at the bar after the show and both love a bit of a natter. I'd love to see her in the final."

As for Jay McGuiness, Craig revealed how The Wanted star has gone from shy and nervous to confident and extroverted in the past eight weeks of the show.

Craig explained: "He has been completely transformed.

"When he first arrived he was incredibly quiet and would avoid everybody else by hiding behind scenery, in stairwells, in cupboards, behind his hair... but now he's lost the hair he talks to everyone and walks down the corridor like John Travolta."

Strictly is back this Saturday and Sunday night on BBC One ahead of next weekend's Blackpool special.
