Jamelia has been confirmed as the latest celebrity for Strictly Come Dancing 2015 this autumn.
The Singer and TV personality is the twelfth celebrity to be confirmed for the new line up, having reportedly turned down a rival offer from ITV's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
Jamelia said: “My girls are huge fans of Strictly, but when I told them I was doing it they laughed as they know that dancing is not my forté!
"The girls are amazing dancers though so I definitely want to learn a new skill so that I'll be able to give them a run for their money, and end them teasing me once and for all!”
In her career, Jamelia has released three studio albums, each of which has reached the Top 40 in the UK, and which has collectively spawned eight UK top ten singles including Superstar, Money and Thank You.
More recently, Jamelia featured as a coach on The Voice of Ireland and also appeared in Bear Gryll’s latest adventure show Mission Survive on ITV, as well as working on ITV’s daytime talk show Loose Women.
Jamelia joins Countryfile's Anita Rani, The Wanted singer Jay McGuiness, boxer Anthony Ogogo, Irish singer Daniel O'Donnell, singer Peter Andre, Weather presenter Carol Kirkwood, TV host Katie Derham, Corrie star Georgia May Foote, EastEnder Kellie Bright, TV chef Ainsley Harriet and broadcaster Jeremy Vine on the current line up
With just a handful of spots now left the fill we're almost got our complete Strictly cast for 2015.
Those tipped to take to the dancefloor alongside the already confirmed celebs include former X Factor champ Joe McElderry, fashion stylist Gok Wan, Call The Wife's Helen George, EastEnder Shane Ritchie and Sky Sports TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher, as well as married couple Jamie and Louise Redknapp and ex ITV presenter Adrian Chiles.
Strictly Come Dancing 2015 starts back on TV in September with the launch date now confirmed for September 5.
