Jeremy Vine may be the only confirmed celeb for Strictly Come Dancing this year but he's already been ruled out of claiming the glitterball trophy.
Bookies have priced him at huge odds of 33/1 to win the show, alongside Vince Cable and Carol Kirkwood.
Although not confirmed to join the line-up, yet, Joe McElderry is currently the one to beat at 5/2, with Jamelia the second favourite at 3/1 and Peter Andre hot on their heels at 9/2.
Also circulating the rumour mill are Michelle Keegan, who is 11/2 to win, sports presenter Kirsty Gallacher (10/1), Jockey AP McCoy (16/1), Dragon Peter Jones (25/1) and everyone’s favourite presenting couple Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan, who are 28/1 and 33/1 respectively to win.
Aoife Heffron, PR Executive at BoyleSports, commented: “Jermery Vine is the first to come out and say he will be donning the sequins on Strictly Come Dancing, although it is a bitter sweet announcement as he goes into the betting as an outside shot to win at 33/1.”
She added: “Joe McElderry is the main threat to anyone who joins Strictly this year, should he join himself, he has won every talent show he has appeared on and has shown he has what it takes to take to the Strictly dancefloor by storm on the West. His main downfall is his background in performing which we all know Strictly fans are not keen on.”
A second celebrity will be confirmed tonight (Tuesday, August 11) during The One Show.
