The BBC One series is back again in the autumn but a number of celebs have said no to offers to take to the dancefloor.
They include chat show host and telly presenter Paul O'Grady, who says he'd probably end up PUNCHING judge Craig Revel Horwood.
“I have mates that have done it, big healthy fellas have gone in and they’ve come out complete wrecks," he told The Sun newspaper. “If I had done eight hours a day for five days and nearly killed myself and Craig Revel Horwood said, ‘Well, frankly darling . . . ’, I’d smash his face in.”
Meanwhile, EastEnders star Jo Joyner said she had no plans to follow co-star Jake Wood onto the show.
"They’ve asked a couple of times, but it doesn’t appeal to me," she revealed to the Radio Times this week. "I love dancing with my husband, but I like to dance as though no one’s watching me. And you clearly couldn’t on Strictly.
"I’m also told that I’m a bit of a control freak and very difficult to lead, so I can’t imagine I’d be very good."
When it comes to the latest run of Strictly later this year, some stars more positively linked to the line up include Angie Best, Adrian Chiles and Karen Danczuk.
