Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford are wanted for Strictly Come Dancing 2015.
The pair of morning TV hosts are said to be top of this year's wish list of stars for the new series.
"They are hugely popular with viewers. Watching them bickering and competing against each other would be TV gold," a source said today of the couple.
However while Ruth is up for the challenge her husband is not so keen... at all.
Alison Hammond, who took part in last year's series, revealed: “Ruth really wants to do Strictly - and I really hope they get her, because she’d be brilliant.
“They have asked Eamonn to do it a few times - and he’s said no.
“I didn’t think I knew a celebrity who wouldn’t want to do it."
Speaking the Daily Mirror newspaper, a source said this weekend: “We’re hoping Ruth will work on Eamonn and persuade him. But so far he’s digging his heels in.”
The new series of Strictly Come Dancing will air on BBC One in the autumn.
Other names already tipped for the new celebrity line up include Robbie Williams' wife Ayda Field.
The latest crop of stars kicked off the show's 2015 live tour this week in Birmingham.
