Strictly Come Dancing's Ola Jordan may never dance again following her injury on The Jump.

The dancer was ruled out of the competition after hurting her leg in training for the Channel 4 show last year.

She was rushed to hospital with a serious "potentially career changing" injury last year and spent Christmas with her leg strapped up in metal and walking on crutches.

Last week Ola went under the knife as surgeons tried to fix her broken leg and injured knee but it seems that the operation wasn't quite as successful as she may have hoped.

According to the Daily Mirror newspaper today, Ola was told by doctors that she may NEVER dance again.

“It’s 50-50 she will dance again. It is terribly sad," a source told the newspaper. "Facing never being able to do it is incredibly tough for her.”

Ola isn't the only celeb to have been ruled out of The Jump this year.

Former CBB housemate Sally Bercow has also been forced to withdraw from the competition after fracturing two of her ribs in training.

The Jump 2015 begins later this year on Channel 4.
